Milk thistle is a herbal remedy derived from the milk thistle plant, also known as Silybum marianum.

Traditionally, milk thistle has been used in herbal medicine as a hepatoprotectant / liver protector, to support liver function and to relieve digestive disorders / dyspepsia.

Most of the milk thistle on the market is actually a cheap by-product of milk thistle seeds. Many of the effective active ingredients are removed from the final product. 88Herb's milk thistle is different. A very clean and unadulterated milk thistle with a clean extraction process is used in this supplement. An extraction ratio of 70: 1 and full spectrum extraction is used. This means that all active ingredients of the plant are retained.

The endproduct does not contain heavy metals and no magnesium stearate is used. It is standardized to contain 54% silymarin and 23.2-34.8% silybin A + B as measured by HPLC. This milk thistle extract is good for supporting the liver and digestion.
